The PPR Mission Team with the PSEFI-SKILLS Management
Yesterday, February 18, 2016, Thursday, we were so glad to welcome the the K-12 Plus Project Progress Review (PPR) Mission Team headed by independent consultants Mr. Rolf Speit and Mr. Lorenzo Templonuevo.
Mrs. Paulette D. Liu, COO, Dr. Maritess H. Requina, Executive Director, and Dr. Bryant C. Acar, Academic Director, received the Mission Team and their staff.

The Cebu Chamber Commerce and Industry (CCCI) and AFOS Foundation for Entrepreneurial Development Cooperation has given its support to PSEFI-SKILLS, as it started its Senior High School (SHS) Program last June 2015. CCCI and AFOS aim to assist the ongoing education and training reform of the Philippines with particular focus on piloting the K-12 Plus Project as a multi-stakeholder initiative for the benefit of the Industry, of the youth and their families. Among the identified focus industry sectors of the K-12 Plus in Cebu is the Construction sector. Thus PSEFI-SKILLS is a pioneer partner in providing the tech-voc skills in construction in the early implementation of the Senior High School Program here in Cebu City.

During the short conference with the PPR Mission Team held at the CWB Room
The Project Progress Review (PPR) was made in connection with the ongoing AFOS-supported Senior HS Pilot Testing for the construction trades being held here in SKILLS, with students from nearby Zapatera National High School as beneficiaries. The PPR Mission Team's findings and recommendations shall become the basis for the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development's (BMZ) decision on whether the K-12 Plus Projects merits a second phase. The PPR is a critical and and analytical review of results with a strategic forecast of future developments of the Project.
