Run 2 Plant on Arbor Day 2017

Trees are like the lungs of the planet. They breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out      oxygen. Planting trees are one of the easiest and most sustainable ways to affect the environment.

June 17, 2017, marked the event with an early morning run by some staffs from Autoclave Aerated Concrete Lightweight Block Corp. (ABC),  Primary Structures Educational Foundation Incorporated-School of Knowledge for Industrial Labor Leadership and Services' staffs as well as Senior High Scouts  and some Local Government of the City of Naga Cebu. The run kicked off at Naga City Hall passing Barangay Taghaguimit towards their destination in celebration of: Run 2 Plant on Arbor Day  at NAVA City of Naga Cebu.

The event was signified through a Tree Planting Program organized by Autoclave Aerated Concrete Lightweight Block Corp. (ABC) in partnership with Meridian 123 Corporation, Primary Structures Corporation, Primary Properties Corporation, Primary Structures Educational Foundation, Inc., School of Knowledge for Industrial Labor Leadership and Service and the Local Government of the City of Naga Cebu.

The aim of the event is to “Plant and Own Your Own Tree”. The activity aspired to establish a reforestation in line with the  Department of Environment and Natural Resources and it expects to achieve at least 1,000 seedlings of indigenous trees that will be planted every year to help drive awareness in preserving our environment as well as a tune to a healthier habit by organizing recreational activities outside the working place.

This is  Primary Group Builder’s commitment and credence that planting a tree is a symbol of what looking forward is kind of action; looking forward, yet not too far of the reach.
