Primary Homes, Inc. Organizes Home Run 2016 for the Benefit of PSEFI-SKILLS Scholars

Cebu Business Park, Cebu City --- Primary Homes, Inc. (PHI) did it again! Home Run 2016, the yearly fun run, dance and play event was a huge success staged last Saturday, April 23, 2016, with the whole Primary Group of Builders' (PGB) families gracing the event! 

Home Run Participants were at Sumilon Road of the Cebu Business Park as early as 3:00 am to prepare for the 3K, 6K and 12K categories. Mr. Joel Baring, Race Organizer, gave a run-down of the different routes where the runners will pass soon after the Zumba Warm-Up Exercises were led by our friends from Slimmers World. 

It was heart-warming to see so many young people and several small children joining the fun run with their parents, full-fledged PGB employees! The PGB Palaro 2016 was also launched during this year's Home Run. 


During the Awarding Ceremonies, PSEFI-SKILLS' Executive Director, Dr. Maritess H. Requina, received the big check worth P 385,000 from Primary Homes' VP for Sales and Marketing, Mr. Ramero F. Espina. This amount will go straight to the scholarships of PSEFI-SKILLS' technical-vocational scholars, for the Iskolar ng Primary Program. Everyone enjoyed playing Pinoy Games and other group games that have successfully ignited PGB Palaro 2016!

2017: Hilot Wellness Massage NC II Training for Senior High School Students

Cebu City --- We started the new year 2017 with two groups undergoing extensive training in Hilot Wellness Massage NC II. Our Grade 11 Senior High School students and the scholars of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), kicked-off the year with lectures, practical demonstration and on-the-job training about Hilot Wellness. Mr. Marben C. Manabat, RN, is the one on top of this tech-voc training. Our DSWD scholars set-up their Hilot Wellness facility in two venues: Circa 1900-Casa Dos, a restaurant located in Sanjercasville, Lahug, Cebu City, and at 2 Quad Building in Cebu Business Park. The student-trainees will be giving free massage to the guests, clients, employees of the said establishments. BJMP Inmates as Scholars of TESDA Technical Training

Under the TESDA’s Bottoms-up Budgeting Program (BuB), the local government of Mandaue in partnership with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) is currently running free skills training to sixty two (62) female inmates of Mandaue City Jail.The training program will run from December 2017 to March 2018 that will focus in Carpentry NC II, Plaster Concrete Masonry Surface and Install Pre-Cast Balusters and Handrail (leading to Masonry NC II). TESDA is one of the participating agencies that are tasked to ensure the implementation of social development projects as identified at the city/municipal level through the BuB participatory planning and budgeting process. The project aims to provide livelihood skills that will help the communities get more opportunities for employment.
