Primary Homes, Inc. (PHI) Launches Home Run 2016

Mrs. Paulette D. Liu and Mr. Joel Baring during Home Run 2016's presscon Primary Homes, Inc. (PHI) organized a mini-press conference held at the lecture room of SKILLS' Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) yesterday, March 30, 2016, Tuesday, from 2:00-4:00 pm, launching Home Run 2016, a benefit fun run for the scholars of PSEFI-SKILLS. Tuburan's Training for Work Scholarship Program Scholars (TWSP) Finish Housekeeping NC II

Tuburan scholars with PSEFI-SKILLS Management and Staff Twenty-five (25) scholars from the Municipality of Tuburan graduated from their Housekeeping NC II course last March 21, 2016, Monday, held at the Tuburan Sports Complex. This was the 24th Culminating Activity of PSEFI-SKILLS. The graduates are all scholars of the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) spearheaded by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). Tuburan Mayor, Hon. Democrito Diamante, was represented by Municipal Administrator, Mr. Roy Talaugon. PSEFI-SKILLS was headed by Dr. Maritess H. Requina, Executive Director and Engr. Steve Y. Dalaguete Housekeeping Scholars Now Employed at Argao Royal Palms

Four (4) recent graduates of our Housekeeping NC II course were employed at Argao Royal Palms as housekeeping attendants and food servers effective yesterday, March 17, 2016. These graduates are scholars of the Municipality of Dalaguete, beneficiaries of the Accelerated and Sustainable Anti-Poverty Program (ASAPP). Argao Royal Palms is a project of Primary Homes, Inc. (PHI), located at Brgy, Suba, Poblacion, Argao, Cebu. PHI's Human Resource Supervisor, Ms. June Kathleen C. Lalimarmo, gave full support during the training that was conducted yesterday. The fortunate Dalaguete scholars are Maristela Sanoy, Irish Mary Amazona, Elvenia Sardenia and Marites Atis. PSEFI-SKILLS' Multipurpose Cooperative point-person, Ms. Mayline L. Lipnica, facilitated the training schedule for the graduates.

The 23rd Commencement Exercises at the Municipality of Dalaguete

PSEFI-SKILLS Management and representatives from the Municipality of Dalaguete with the graduates Sixty-four (64) successful trainees of Housekeeping NC II, Carpentry NC II, and Masonry NC II graduated last March 10, 2016, Thursday, held at Dalaguete's Sports Complex. These students are all products of the mobile training program conducted by PSEFI-SKILLS in the Municipality of Dalaguete since December 2015. They are also beneficiaries of their local government unit's Accelerated and Sustainable Anti-Poverty Program (ASAPP). Hon. 27 PSEFI-SKILLS Housekeeping NC II Students from the Municipality of Dalaguete Pass TESDA's NC II Assessment

The students with Ms. Pura Arriola of TESDA There were twenty-seven (27) PSEFI-SKILLS Housekeeping students from the Municipality of Dalaguete who recently passed TESDA's NC II assessment, held at the Housekeeping laboratory of SKILLS campus last February 22-24, 2016. TESDA Assessor, Ms. Pura S. Arriola, conducted the said assessment. This three-day activity was facilitated by Mr. Marben C. Manabat and Ms. Juliet Labora, trainers of the Hospitality Training Center (HTC). These students from Dalaguete started their Housekeeping training last December 7, 2015, and were deployed for On-the-Job Training in selected tourism establishments here in Cebu City. And the good news is that all 27 students passed the Housekeeping NC II assessment! Congratulations, students! You made us and the Municipality of Dalaguete really proud! The graduation of our Housekeeping NC II students will be held tomorrow, March 10, 2016, Thursday, 1:00 pm at the Multipurpose Hall of Dalaguete.

Teambuilding 2016 at Durhan White Beach Resort in Tabuelan, Cebu!

PSEFI-SKILLS' staff had a two-day Teambuilding activity last February 25-26, 2016, Thu-Fri, at Durhan White Beach Resort in Tabuelan, Cebu! Joining the current staff of the Foundation are the new set of faculty members of our Senior High School Program. This teambuilding event was organized by the PSEFI-SKILLS Management led by Dr. Maritess H. Requina, Executive Director. Assisting her in the activities was Dr. Bobby M. Cabangon, SKILLS' Assistant Academic Director. The staff had ample time to enjoy the sun, sand and the sea in this beautiful coastline of Tabuelan! What is also noteworthy is that the members of the staff were able to bring some of their family members who spent quality time with them while teambuilding activities were ongoing.   Looking forward to the next group activity that will aim to bring out the best in everyone, and thus, promote camaraderie and unity in furthering the Foundation's endeavors this new year!
