PSEFI-SKILLS Celebrates Buwan ng Wikang Filipino

The Filipino Department of SKILLS' Senior High School organized a month-long celebration highlighting the month of August as National Language Month. We would like to commend Mrs. Angiela Castillo, head teacher, with Mr. Marison Donaire, PEHM teacher, for being on top of the different activities which ran the whole month of August. Last August 31, 2016, we had a whole day celebration here in SKILLS campus where the students played Filipino games, showcased Filipino food via Barrio Fiesta over lunch, and participated in different competitions: Sabayang Pagbigkas, Lakambini at Lakan, Katutubong Sayaw and Filipino Trivia interspersed in the program. Our COO, Mrs. Paulette D. Liu, graced the event and witnessed the different talents of our Senior High School students from the following troops: Sage, Lagundi, Thyme and Basil. Lakbay Lahi: A Heritage Journey --- Sponsored Event by the Primary Group of Builders

The Primary Group of Builders (PGB) was one of the major sponsors of Tutoring Club Cebu's (TCC) Lakbay Lahi: A Heritage Journey event held last August 27, 2016, Saturday, from 10 am to 9 pm at the Mountain Wing of SM Seaside City Cebu. Tutoring Club Cebu (TCC) is a U.S. skill-based tutoring service for children at all levels of academic ability, i.e. from elementary to high school. It has branches in Banilad Town Center and Eagle's Nest Condominium in Mandaue City, Cebu. Ms. Jogen P. Mil is the Director of TCC here in the province. Lakbay Lahi: A Heritage Journey, is Tutoring Club's main event of the year, their first big activity which featured our rich cultural heritage: local fashion, local cuisine, local delicacies, farm products, artistry and handicrafts, Philippine art and photography, Filipino games, music and our colorful festival dances.
