SKILLS Intramurals 2018

A three-day event was designed to provide the opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to participate in a recreational competition that aims to promote unity, camaraderie, passion, and sportsmanship with the theme: “Unity in Diversity through Sports”. The SKILLS Intramural Sports Program offered a variety of activities ranging from team sports, such as volleyball and basketball, to individual activities, such as chess, badminton and tennis. This activity took place last September 26-28, 2018.
The first day started off with a parade of students, athletes, and participants from different teams followed by the lighting of the torch led by Jobert Costelo which drew a loud applause and cheers from the crowd. After the Oath of Sportsmanship represented by Arthur Maambong, the Dance Palabas Contest followed. Each team competed under zumba and cheer dance category depending on their year level.

Highlighting the second day of the event was the first ever “SKILLS Pasikatay” wherein students rendered “sing and dance” performances. It was also the day for the championship games for the team sports.

The crowd drawer, Mr. & Ms. SKILLS Intramurals 2018 pageant, ended the sports event. Teams screamed their hearts out and poured out their support for their bet representative inside the multi-purpose hall.   Mr. Ralph Pagente and Ms. Liewellyn Batiancilla emerged victorious from among a horde of male and female candidates who competed for the title.
