SKILLS Intramurals 2018

A three-day event was designed to provide the opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to participate in a recreational competition that aims to promote unity, camaraderie, passion, and sportsmanship with the theme: “Unity in Diversity through Sports”. The SKILLS Intramural Sports Program offered a variety of activities ranging from team sports, such as volleyball and basketball, to individual activities, such as chess, badminton and tennis. This activity took place last September 26-28, 2018. The first day started off with a parade of students, athletes, and participants from different teams followed by the lighting of the torch led by Jobert Costelo which drew a loud applause and cheers from the crowd. After the Oath of Sportsmanship represented by Arthur Maambong, the Dance Palabas Contest followed. Each team competed under zumba and cheer dance category depending on their year level. Highlighting the second day of the event was the first ever “SKILLS Pasikatay”

Joint Delivery Voucher Program

It's a hassle-free and friendly partnership program initiated by the Department of Education through D.O. 33 series of 2018 on the Joint Delivery Voucher Program (JDVP). This will provide a lot of assistance to our national high school students specifically the senior high school who would like to experience the actual laboratory equipment and world-class facilities by using the state-of the-art technology at the Technical Vocational Institutions (TVI) like SKILLS, Inc. Senior high school students will be taught holistically that includes technical knowledge, sufficient skills and well-rounded attitude as they prepare themselves for the real world of work in the industry. SKILLS, Inc. will help hone their skills to obtain the TESDA National Certificate level II for their lifelong preparedness.     SKILLS Academic Director Eunice B.
