PSEFI-SKILLS' Trainers Methodology Level 1 goes to Panglao Island, Bohol

Primary Structures Educational Foundation Incorporated-School of Knowledge for Industrial Labor Leadership and Services is actively working with the Office of the Vice President in the implementation of the Angat Buhay Program to help eradicate poverty and build-up the quality of life of every Filipino family by 2030.

As a pledged of support, the PSEFI offered free scholarship training to help teachers of public high schools in the Province of Bohol to secure a training certification through the Trainers Methodology Level 1 class. SKILLS provided the technical training fully funded by the Technical Education and Skills Development Agency through the Training for Work Scholarship Program held from November 4-December 10, 2017 at Panglao SB Hall, Panglao Bohol.

The Foundation is grateful for the support of the local government of Bohol for providing the venue of the training. Assessment will take place in January 2018. PSEFI looks forward to certifying these teachers to be part of the pool of trainers and improve their quality of life.

Joint Delivery Voucher Program

It's a hassle-free and friendly partnership program initiated by the Department of Education through D.O. 33 series of 2018 on the Joint Delivery Voucher Program (JDVP). This will provide a lot of assistance to our national high school students specifically the senior high school who would like to experience the actual laboratory equipment and world-class facilities by using the state-of the-art technology at the Technical Vocational Institutions (TVI) like SKILLS, Inc. Senior high school students will be taught holistically that includes technical knowledge, sufficient skills and well-rounded attitude as they prepare themselves for the real world of work in the industry. 2017: Hilot Wellness Massage NC II Training for Senior High School Students

Cebu City --- We started the new year 2017 with two groups undergoing extensive training in Hilot Wellness Massage NC II. Our Grade 11 Senior High School students and the scholars of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), kicked-off the year with lectures, practical demonstration and on-the-job training about Hilot Wellness. Mr. Marben C. Manabat, RN, is the one on top of this tech-voc training. Our DSWD scholars set-up their Hilot Wellness facility in two venues: Circa 1900-Casa Dos, a restaurant located in Sanjercasville, Lahug, Cebu City, and at 2 Quad Building in Cebu Business Park. The student-trainees will be giving free massage to the guests, clients, employees of the said establishments. On the one hand, our Grade 11 students will need more time to practice Hilot skills in the Wellness Laboratory of the Hospitality Training Center here in SKILLS. SKILLS SHS BUWAN NG WIKA CELEBRATION 2018

With this year’s theme, “Filipino: Wika ng Saliksik” , SKILLS Inc. commemorated the Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa in August. It was celebrated with a variety of exciting and fun “Larong Pinoy”. Students played different Filipino games every Monday. To showcase the creativity of the senior high school students, a poster making and an essay writing contest were held simultaneously on August 17, 2018. The month-long celebration culminated in a very festive mood with four major activities on August 31, 2018. In the morning, the “ Paluan ng Palayok ” played as one of the “ Larong Pinoy ”. Classrooms were embellished with typical decorations to depict the “ Fiesta sa Nayon ”, as each class section prepared an assortment of native Filipino food and competed in the “ Unahan sa Pagkain ng Balut ” contest.
