Educational tour is an essential
activity among college graduating students where they gain actual insights of
the current industry practices. The Foundation welcomed its participating
schools , Cagayan De Oro College and University of Bohol, comprised of 100
students taking Architecture, Electrical and Civil Engineering courses. Part of
the tour was a visit to Primary Structures Corporation’s construction sites –
888 Acacia Mass Housing and STC Building Extension. These young aspiring
Engineers and Architects learned as well some methods and techniques in
construction conducted by the Project-in-Charge held on February 3 and 7, respectively.
It's a hassle-free and friendly partnership program initiated by the Department of Education through D.O. 33 series of 2018 on the Joint Delivery Voucher Program (JDVP). This will provide a lot of assistance to our national high school students specifically the senior high school who would like to experience the actual laboratory equipment and world-class facilities by using the state-of the-art technology at the Technical Vocational Institutions (TVI) like SKILLS, Inc. Senior high school students will be taught holistically that includes technical knowledge, sufficient skills and well-rounded attitude as they prepare themselves for the real world of work in the industry. SKILLS, Inc. will help hone their skills to obtain the TESDA National Certificate level II for their lifelong preparedness. SKILLS Academic Director Eunice B.
