PSEFI-SKILLS' Senior High School Guidance Counselor, Mrs. Mitziel Toledo, represented the foundation last August 5, 2016, Friday, 1-5 pm, to be the main speaker for the Career Orientation Talk organized by Southwestern University-PHINMA for its Senior High School - Grade 11 students. Dubbed as "Know Your Career," the activity was held at SWU-PHINMA's Aznar Coliseum.

SWU-PHINMA's Placement Manager, Ms. Jo C. Cartalla, spearheaded the event which was meant to enlighten the technical-vocational track candidates of their Senior High School program. There were about 65 students who attended the said activity.

Ms. Mitziel took the chance to make the students aware of what tech-voc education provides by
talking about the kind of training programs we have here in SKILLS. She also managed to give a crash course on personality, focusing on self-knowledge, which will help the young students become the kind of persons we will be proud to have in the society.

PSEFI-SKILLS first got acquainted with SWU-PHINMA during the Job and Career Caravan launched by Cebu Daily News (CDN) last April. We actively participated in the series of university visits with the view to promoting the different training programs being offered in the school, putting emphasis on poverty alleviation as our main advocacy.

We would like to thank SWU-PHINMA, through Ms. Jo C. Cartalla, for giving us this wonderful opportunity to collaborate with their school to make tech-voc education known through what we are doing here in SKILLS! We are looking forward to a possible partnership with SWU-PHINMA in the near future.
