PSEFI-SKILLS Supported the Global Run for Deaf Women and Children at SM Seaside City Cebu

With Rob Gomm (2nd from left), PADS' Global Run organizer Cebu City --- PSEFI-SKILLS actively supported the Global Run for Persons With Disabilities, organized by the Philippine Accessible Disability Services, Inc. (PADS). Dubbed as, "Break the Silence: Global Run," PADS hosted "approximately 10,000 global change-makers of all abilities and ages to participate in this fun run, in cities around the world," said its press release. In another press release, PADS stated that, "Our goal isn't to break world records. Instead, our goal is to generate a wave of awareness across the globe which will contribute to the eradication of the sexual abuse of Deaf women and children."  Ms. Michelle S. TESDA Ambassadress and PSEFI-SKILLS Graduate Represents the Country in APEC's Workshop in Thailand

The participants to the APEC workshop held in Bangkok, Thailand PSEFI-SKILLS' very own graduate, Ms. Myrna Pitaluna-Alngog, represented the country via the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) as its Ambassadress for tech-voc training opportunities for women. Cebu City --- We were fortunate to have been featured once more over at DYKC-Kusog Cebu's Tinubdan sa Kalambuan radio program (675 KHz) of Mr. Jefferson "Ka Jeffrox" Cal and Ms. "A" Angus yesterday, February 9, 2017, Thursday, with Engr. Steve Y. Banzon, our Technical Training Director, and Dr. Eunice B. Raz, Academic Director, as special guests. We were given almost an hour of air time promoting PSEFI-SKILLS' Tech-Voc and Senior High School Programs. Engr. A New Partnership: PSEFI-SKILLS and Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines

PSEFI-SKILLS Partners with Biken Techno Philippines, Inc. for a Special Cleaning and Maintenance Training Program

PSEFI-SKILLS Management and BIKEN staff with the trainees A memorandum of mutual understanding (MOMU) was signed and entered into by and between the School of Knowledge for Industrial Labor, Leadership and Service (SKILLS) and Biken Techno Phils., Inc. (BIKEN), an affiliate of Biken Techno Corporation, Japan, last October 20, 2016. This is working towards the ongoing program implementation called "Biken Advanced Cleaning and Maintenance" being held here in SKILLS. Training started on February 1 and will end on February 8, 2017, Wednesday. After the program, employees/trainees will have opportunities to have on-the-job training (OJT) utilizing the skills and knowledge they learned. PSEFI-SKILLS' Training Partnership with the Municipality of Argao: Hilot, Housekeeping and Electrical Installation and Maintenance

SKILLS graduates who took up Hilot, Housekeeping and EIM Argao, Cebu --- We had a total of sixty-four (64) successful trainees for the mobile training in Hilot Wellness Massage NC II, Housekeeping NC II and Electrical Installation & Maintenance NC II conducted from October to December 2016 in the Municipality of Argao. Our trainees graduated last January 25, 2017, Wednesday at the Argao Sports Complex. With them were other finishers from the Cebu Technological University-Argao who took up Dressmaking, Bread & Pastry Production and Cookery. The graduation was graced by Hon. Stanley S. Caminero, municipal mayor of Argao, together with Mr. Dexter Gimena, Regional Convergence Coordinator of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), representing DSWD's Regional Director Ma.
